French Press vs Drip Coffee 2017

Making tea with the French Press is almost similar as to make a cup of coffee. But there are chances that you may need some guidelines and expert help.

So here we are, to help you make a cup of tea using a French Press!

Get The Perfect Tea

The first and the foremost thing to do is to get a perfect raw tea for yourself. Apparently, there are more kinds of tea than you can imagine them to exist.

But here, you have to decide which tea-leaves you want. But you have to keep in mind that you have to get the tea leaves that do not slip through the filter. So you have to select larger tea leaves and the best-flavored ones.

Boil Some Water

For making a cup of tea the most important thing after tea leaves are the water. You need to have some amount of boiling water so that you can insert that into the French Press and then extract the tea from the tea leaves.

So, after you select the perfect tea leaf for yourself you need to boil the water perfectly well. Some nice boiling water is what makes the tea smell and flavor amazing.

Add The Ingredients

Now, here if you want to have the black tea with a whole lot of earthy flavor and some intense cup of tea you will just require some tea leaves and some boiling water. But if you prefer having a cream tea or milk tea then you should get some milk or cream for you till the water is boiling.

Perhaps, if you want your tea to taste sweet, you are free to add some sugar or honey to it according to your taste.

So, before using the French Press get the things ready.

Add The Items Into The Pot

Once you have collected all that you need, get the French Press according to the capacity so that it can make tea as much as you want.

Put the tea leaves inside the press at the bottom of the pot, the same place where we keep coffee ground. Now add some hot boiling water into the Press gently. Later you have to stir it well so that the essence of tea and water mix and indulge in the water.

Now if you want that tea to sweeten then you can add some sugar or honey into the pot. Or maybe you can do it later when the tea is ready.

Have Some Patients

Once all the ingredients and items are added and now that you have mixed them well, leave it for a couple of minutes. This is let the raw tea leaves to share its flavors to the water as much as possible. This is how rich and intense tea can be prepared.

Press The Plunger

So, after some time you have to place the plunger, filter and lid combination over the pot at its place. Then you need to press the plunger which will slowly and gently push the filter downwards. Due to this, the water inside the pot will be pressurized and so will the tea leaves.

Due to this, the perfect water and tea essence mixture are what you get on the top of the filter. This is how the extraction of flavors is done from the tea leaves using the French Press.

Enjoy The Tea

Pour yourself a cup of tea from the pot of the French Press and have some real fresh tea. Add milk or cream if you want or have it dark and relax.
